A Los Angeles based storefront and collective that makes events where the public, artists, and non-artists come together to explore specialized knowledge, participate in non-goal oriented events, or both! I work with the group as an artist and curator of sound programming.

Land + Houses
A collective of musicians based in Los Angeles, the group creates work that explores the dynamic between the built and natural environment. I started Land + Houses in 2012 with the intent to work with a focus on process and research. The group works with a revolving collection of collaborators and hopes to create new structures in the exploration of site and context.

wild Up
A modern music collective committed to creating visceral shared experiences in sound and music. The group’s programs are a study of people, places, and ideas that we find interesting. I often write music for the group, participate in programming, and perform as a multi-instrumentalist.

Sue Conley of Cowgirl Creamery
Sue Conley is a pioneering cheese maker and founder of Cowgirl Creamery. Sue and Chris collaborated on the creation of a cheese-tasting event with musical accompaniment, setting off a string of food-based projects focusing on place, process, sound, and taste.






Jason Torchinksy
Jason is an artist, writer, and designer based in Los Angeles. Jason is also a super kind guy with big questions and big needs. I fulfill those needs as his chief-advisor-of-sound, helping to develop instruments and projects that merge technology and music in the most unattractive ways.
